The process of designing a podcast cover shares a lot with a larger branding project. In each instance, I try to capture the subject matter & tone of the show in a graphic that provides a visual description of what the listener can expect.
The Three is an NBA fan podcast with three hosts sharing the fan experience with listeners. The cover design is based on the three point hand signal & the zooming basketballs that populate many great NBA logos of the past.
How Do You Do? is an interview style podcast examining the passions & careers of folks who make a living outside the conventions of “traditional" work.
